While a new year can be exciting as it’s a fresh start, it’s also a tad bit depressing as all the excitement of the holidays has come to a close. I’ve found the best way to deal with this disappointment is to plan other things to look forward. While events such as dinner parties with friends and the opening of a new film you’ve been dying to see are great to have in the diary, nothing quite feels that empty space like a forthcoming holiday.
