Giving One Free Lesson

I have a good friend who teaches golf for a living. He told me that people are always asking him for free advice. He told me that the most common inquiry is how to fix a slice. He tells them that he can’t really give them any advice unless he’s seen their swing, and then offers to give them one free lesson. A lot of people take him up on it, and after the one lesson they are hooked. He has made a lot of new clients this way. Golf has become very popular in this area, in part because of my friend.
