What is the Size of a Bed Bug?
June 30th, 2010 by admin
Bed bugs are so little that one might not see them right up until we already sense the itchiness and discomfort generating from a bed bug bite. How big are bed bugs? An adult bed bug simply measures up to 4 mm. to 5 mm. or around 0.157 inches to 0.197 inches – nearly the size of an apple seed. The nymphs or hatchlings are approximately the size of a poppy seed. These small creatures like to dwell in couches, cushioned seats, and beds of course. Bed bugs can not fly but they are pretty swift and they can make themselves even more hidden by flattening themselves to fit into corners.
