    Common Disadvantage of Having a Duplex

    When having a duplex being rented by a tenant, one of the difficulties that you might encounter is the tenant’s inability to pay the monthly fee in time. There might be situations wherein your tenant is falling short of finances and paying for the monthly rental might be hard for him or her. You may be able to evict a tenant who is unable to pay for the monthly fees but it would be a very long process and at the same time you will be the one in charge of paying for the monthly mortgages. This may be one of the disadvantages of having a duplex but if you are able to manage a strategy in order to avoid this, the better.
