Fresh Fireplace
This house, built in 1940, has a fresh and open feel in the living room. Wanting enhance the existing fireplace surround and mantle, refreshing colors and vintage accessories were used.

Against the backdrop of the light wall color, and white built-in shelves and fireplace molding, the color black was used to add weight and balance. Traces of black are found in the floral fabric, the ottomans, the lamp bases,and the candelabra among others.
