Cat training is different from other animals

    January 29th, 2010 by admin

One of the most common cat problems that cat owner face is that they tend to treat their cats just the way they would treat dogs. This whole idea is absolutely wrong. Dogs are born to be trained and understand certain human behavior and actions, no wonder they are a part of the police force in every country. But cats never get any training and more over they are considered as lazy mammals. Dogs are really. Cats energize themselves by sleeping for a good 16 hours a day, but we tend to overlook this and tag them as lazy animals. Cat training is different from that of other animals and often when people expect them to learn trick as quickly as the dog the reverse happens. The trainer thinks the cat is not good enough to learn it whereas the problem lies in the fact that they must be treated like cats and not dogs. Cats love to sleep and we must keep that in mind and let them have their own sleeping time. They are generally active during evening and that is when they get playful and this is the right time to get friendly with your cat and see how happy the two of you get.
