Seven Points to Create Low-cost Web site Layout

    July 22nd, 2010 by admin

In the present scenario of economic slowdown and cut-throat competition, it has become important for business organisations to reach to the widest audience possible. To fulfill this objective, the advertising and marketing department of a company adopts new techniques and strategies. With the advancement in technology, contemporary corporates have realised the potential of website designs. There are various cheap web designers who offer their services for the small and low budget organisations as well as big corporates. While designing a company’s website, web designers keep in cheap web design guidelines. This piece of article highlights some of the common guidelines involved in designing a website.1. Use graphics that go well with the content. Just because you have a lovely photograph of a car does not mean you have to use it on a site about dogs. There are various graphics and photos that help enhance the design of your web page.2. Use images that do not flash, change, rotate, move or blink on your web page. According to the various studies conducted, such images or graphics are extremely annoying and distracting to the visitors.3. While selecting Font, it is advisable to opt for Sans Serif for text and Serif for headlines. It is easy to read Sans Serif fonts on a computer screen because the resolution of screen is not high as is the case in print. Using serif fonts for regular or standard text can blur the serifs on the screen making them further difficult to read.4. The content of your website should be easy to read and understandable to the visitors. It should cover all the necessary details required by them. Write the content in simple, crisp and concise language.5. Test your web pages on different browsers. Do not write web pages that work exclusively on a specific browser. There is a high possibility that people visiting your website might not be able to read the page.6. Keep your advertisements small and relevant. Do not have advertisements on your website to earn money. Relevant and catchy content would attract more visitors to your website.7. Make sure your website is not loaded with advertisements because visitors are not coming to see advertisements; they are visiting your site looking for some information and content. Excess of advertisements on the web page would only distract readers, forcing them to shift to other website.Keeping the above-mentioned tips in consideration, designers create a website for your company.
