Beautiful Burlap

I love using natural and unexpected materials for projects. Burlap is probably one of my all-time favorites and a signature fabric of SDV Designs.

Here in this lakeside condo, all the space flows together and I wanted to keep the colors and fabrics the same from room to room. I also wanted to use materials that would hold up well over the years, with many visitors, wet bathing suits and sandy feet. Burlap seemed like a natural fit.

One of the great things about burlap is the wide range of colors it comes in now. Here you can see how the red and pale blue of the burlap coordinate so well with the bedding found in a catalog.
