How We Started Our Own Business

My husband and I have owned our own business for almost twenty years. We own a factory that makes forklift parts. We got into this unusual business because of my husband’s first job. When he was nineteen my husband got a job making trolley wheels in a factory. After about five years the company went bankrupt. But the bankruptcy was through mismanagement of funds, not lack of business. We were able to secure a loan and take over the factory ourselves. It took us about five years to pay off the loan. Business has always been good enough for us to make this our only job.
