Did you just start a small business and it’s now tax time, but you don’t have your receipts and payments all in order? If yes, then maybe you should look into hiring a bookkeeper. For small businesses, an Accountant is not usually necessary for the job, but someone who knows basic record keeping information would be beneficial come tax time. Unless you’ve actually had the training yourself, a lot of small business owners don’t usually keep good track of their receipts, they’re just shoved in a folder or box. When it comes time to go over those receipts, it can be difficult to do that when you aren’t organized. Hiring someone to keep those records for you, it will help keep you more organized.
