To use a Metronome or not use a Metronome

The answer to this question is: “To Use a Metronome”. The way I see it, a metronome is like having your own personal drummer (one that is ALWAYS on “time”!!). By using a metronome you will be able to practice more efficiently, it will allow you to observe your progress since you will be able to map and take note of your day to day acceleration in speed and fluidity. Using Metronome will also allow you to keep time and land on the “beat”. Regardless of the music that you are trying to learn or compose, two things are common in almost all music.
